14 police inspectors promoted and transferred

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Police Inspector To DySP/ACP Promotions And Transfer | Fourteen police inspectors (PIs) in the state have been promoted and transferred. Some PIs have been made DySp and some have become ACPs. A list was prepared of police officers who have to be promoted. Fourteen police officers whose names figured in the 2020-21 list have been promoted. Joint Secretary Venkatesh Bhat has issued an order to this effect as per governor’s order on Tuesday.

2) Kavayatri Kisan Gavit (ACP, Thane City)

3) Jitendra Atmaram Agarkar (Sub Divisional Police Officer, Ganeshpuri, Thane Rural)

4) Milind Dasrao Waghmare (ACP, Navi Mumbai)

5) Mukund Bankatrao Aghav (Sub Divisional Police Officer, Kannad Sub-Division, Aurangabad Rural)

6) Devidas Kashinath Shelke (DySP, Headquarters, Jalna)

7) Anil Rajaram Dabde (ACP, Pimpri-Chinchwad)

8) Atulkumar Yashwantrao Navgire (Sub Divisional Police Officer, Achalpur, Amravati Rural)

9) Deepak Sadashiv Chaudhary (ACP, Mumbai)

10) Angad Gyanoba Sudke (DySP, Headquarters, Latur)

11) Dhananjay Mahadev Yerule (Additional Deputy Commissioner, State Intelligence Department, Mumbai)

12) Gajanan Ramchandra Kankale (ACP, Navi Mumbai)

13) Ajay Kumar Chhaganlal Malviya (ACP, Navi Mumbai)

14) Uday Vasantrao Double (Additional SP (ATP), Criminal Investigation Department, Pune)

The police officers have been promoted on the orders of the Supreme Court. This promotion is temporary and there will be no provision for regularisation and seniority, the order says.
