Police Inspcetor Dadasaheb Pawar | PI’s car involved in accident in Phaltan; Did angry citizens beat up PI?

SATARA : Police Inspcetor Dadasaheb Pawar | Police Inspector Dadasaheb Pawar who was driving car in a rash manner, was involved in an accident in Datta Nagar area of Phaltan. The incident took place on Saturday night. There are reports that an angry mob beat up PI DS Pawar. Since there is a talk of two children being injured in the mishap, policenama online contacted the Phaltan police station. The policewoman and policeman on duty said that it was a minor accident and some labourers had received minor injuries. They confirmed that the car was being driven by PI Pawar. Meanwhile, videos of liquor bottles being found in Pawar’s car have gone viral on social media.

 

What has surprised everyone is that a PI violated all rules and drove his car in a reckless manner. There was tension in the are for some time. However, the incident has created a flutter in the area. When policenama online called up at the Phaltan police station, a policewoman said that no accident had taken place and there was no record in the station diary. When more questions were asked, she handed over the phone to a policeman. He said that media had carried the wrong reports. The policenama online reporter asked him a series of questions. Later, he said that the car of PI Dadasaheb Pawar had skidded and some labourers have been injured. No child has been injured.

 

When asked about the video which has gone viral on social media, the policeman said that video was fake. When asked how videos can be fake, he asserted that they were fake. However, he admitted that PI Dadasaheb Pawar’s car was involved in an accident. He also said that no case had been registered and there is no mention of the incident in the station diary.
The police are expected to tell the truth when a PI’s car is involved in an accident and videos go viral on social media but it is clear that the policeman is reluctant to reveal the truth because of intense pressure.
