Police constable does suicide out of depression 

Pimpri Chinchwad: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE– A police constable living in Pimpri Chinchwad has done suicide out of the depression as he was diagnosed with cancer. The constable named Chandrakant Tilekar has hanged himself in his own house on Wednesday.  The incident took place on in the afternoon.

The constable was working in Nigadi Police Station and she was being transferred to Chikhali Police station.

“Chandrakant Tilekar did suicide around 1 in the afternoon. There are 3 members in the family of Chandrakant including Wife, a daughter, and son. On Wednesday, his wife was going out of the house, he asked her to lock the house from outside. His son and daughter were out for their school and college. Then there was no one in the house and he hanged himself. When the wife of Chandrakant returned she saw Chandranakt’s dead body hanging in the air.” said the police officials.

The Tilekar family was living in the Police quarters in Wakad. The son of Chandrakant is in 9^th standard and the daughter is in college. Tilekar was diagnosed with cancer and he could not bear the pain. He was on leave since last 3 months. The Wakad Police are investigating further in this news.
