Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr acts against criminal under MPDA Act for creating terror in Vishrantwadi; This is the 15th such action by police chief

PUNE: Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has taken action against a notorious criminal who had created terror in the limits of Vishrantwadi police station under MPDA Act. This is the 15th action taken by Retesh Kumaarr after taking charge as the police commissioner.

 

The notorious criminal has been identified as Nitesh Sunil Sadbhaiyya (21), a resident of Yerawada. Nitesh with his aides was committing serious crimes like attempt to murder, causing injury by sharp weapons, riots and possessing sharp weapons in the jurisdiction of Vishrantwadi police station.

 

Four crimes have been registered against him in the last five years. His criminal activities had posed a danger to the law and order. Since local residents were scared that they will be harmed or their properties will be damaged, they were not complaining against him. After scrutinising the MPDA proposal sent by the Vishrantwadi police, Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr took action against Nitesh Sunil Sadbhaiyya under MPDA Act and has sent him to the Nagpur Central Jail. The police commissioner has issued one-year detainment orders against Sadbhaiya.

 

Sr PI Dattatray Bhapkar of Vishrantwadi police station and Sr PI Surekha Waghmare of PCB prepared a MPDA proposal and sent it to senior officers. This is the 15th action taken against criminals under the MPDA Act by Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr.
