Police arrested four people for selling blank papers as US Dollar

The Hadapsar police arrested to four people from Solar Ali by planning, who has cheated to estate agent by selling the blank papers as a US dollar. This gang had sold a bundle of blank papers in the name of US Dollars and frauded to estate agent- Muktar Khan(age-40 Kharadi)  for 90 thousand rupees. Investigations revealed that the arrested accused have cheated many people in Pune city. An amount of Rs. 70,000 was seized from the accused.

Buying and selling of land is the business of Muktar Khan. The accused found his number on Just dial and called him in Hadapsar area and after discussions about the place, the accused showed an American dollar note to him. Then they told Khan that they have more 210 notes like this and we are selling it at a cheap rate. Then in return of 90 thousand rupees they gave a bundle of blank papers to Muktar Khan in the name of USD notes and ran from the spot, later Khan realized that he got frauded for 90 thousand rupees and then filed the FIR in Hadapsar Police Station.

Hadapsar Police Station’s Nitin Mundhe and Akbar Sheikh received a tip-off that accused are coming to Sonar Ali. Police Sub-inspector Mangesh Bhange, Police Naik Pratap Gaikwad, Vinod Shivle, Nitin Mundhe, Akbar Sheikh and Shashikant Nale were arrested the accused by making the proper plan. The 104 US dollars, paper bundle, 25 thousand rupees cash and 5 mobile worth of 70 thousand rupees seized from accused. Since the accused was changing the house every month, they were not in the hands of the police.

Nahid Amin Rehman (Age-26 resident of de Road, Tengra, Calcutta, West Bengal), Hafizul / Yameen Rufikul Sardar (Age-23resident of Janas Ganaras Pur, West Bengal), Samon Attiyar Khalifa (age-31, resident of Shoruk Nagar, West Bengal), Onik Fakrul Sheikh (age-29,resident of  Chatugram, thana Dhaka , Bangladesh), Shaheed / Saidul Ubed Shaikh (aged-28 resident of JJ Colony, Delhi) these are the names of the arrested accused now they are currently living in Gondhale Nagar area of Hadapsar.

By investigation, accused have admitted that they did similar crimes in Bhosari, Alandi, Dehuroad, Dattawadi, Yerwada, Hadapsar, Wanwadi.  Since the accused was changing the house every month, they were not in the hands of the police. The Hadapsar Police have appealed to people to approach police, those who have been cheated like this.
