PM Modi to Start High-Tech COVID-19 Investigation Centers in 3 States Today, Will Discuss the Situation With CMs

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday will launch high-tech COVID-19 Testing Labs in Noida, Mumbai and Kolkata (Kolkata), which will be able to identify the disease early and will speed up the treatment in time. A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that in this event to be held through video conference, apart from Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also be involved.

This statement issued by the PMO said, “These facilities will increase the capacity of testing in the country and will help in early detection of the disease and timely treatment. Thus these facilities will help in controlling the spread of Corona Pandemic. “These three high-capacity testing facilities are strategically developed by ICMR – National Cancer Prevention and Research Institute, Noida, ICMR – National Reproductive Health Research, Mumbai and ICMR – National Institute of Cholera and Intestinal Diseases, Kolkata which are capable of testing over 10,000 samples every day.

Laboratories equipped with these facilities will help protect health workers from infectious diagnostic materials and reduce their turnaround time.
