Pistol seized from engineer’s drawer in Hinjewadi IT Park

In a shocking incident, police have recovered a country-made pistol from the table drawer of an engineer with a company located in Hinjewadi IT Park.

Police were tipped off about the weapon. Accordingly, a team led by senior police inspector Shivaji Gaware, in charge of Hinjewadi police station under Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissionerate, reached the office of the company. After checking police recovered the pistol from the table drawer of a Lead Engineer.

DCP Namrata Patil and ACP Shridhar Jadhav are supervising the further investigation in the case.
