Pimpri – Former Shiv Sena corporator’s son attacked with sharp weapons

Pimpri : Np News Network – A 20-year-old son of former Shiv Sena corporator Sampat Pawar was assaulted with sharp weapons when he intervened in a quarrel. The incident took place Laxmibai Garden in Thergaon on Friday noon.

The injured Kunal Sampat Pawar, a resident of Thergaon, has lodged an FIR in this regard with Wakad police station against Ravi Bhilare of Thergaon and his two accomplices.

According to police, some youths were assaulting complainant Kunal’s brother Kundan over past enmity. When Kunal intervened, he was attacked too. He has sustained injuries on head.

Police have arrested one person while the search is going for two others. Senior Police inspector Satish Mane is further investigating the case.
