Pimpri Crime News | Sonya Tapkir murder case: Police investigation reveals that minors were trained in handling pistols
PIMPRI : Pimpri Crime News | New information has come to light in connection with the Sonya Tapkir murder case. An investigation by the police has revealed that minors were trained in handling pistols to carry out the murder. The Anti-Goonda Cell (AGC) has arrested mastermind Karan Ratan Rokde, Hrithwik alias Mungya Ratan Rokde and Rinku Dinesh Kumar from outside the state. What is surprising is the involvement of minors in the crime.
Sonya Tapkir had been killed by Sonya Pansare and a minor by firing at them in Chikhali area of Pimpri Chinchwad over previous enmity. The Pimpri Chinchwad police have arrested 11 people so far. Mastermind Karan Ratan Rokde was absconding and 11 FIRs are registered against him. The Chikhali police and the AGC were searching for him. PI Harish Mane of AGC came to know that Ratan Rokde was hiding in Uttar Pradesh with his aides.
Karan Ratan Rokde, Hrithwik alias Mungya Ratan Rokde, Rinku Dinesh Kumar and a minor were staying in a building. When they saw that the police were coming, they tried to escape after jumping from the first floor. But PI Harish Mane and his team arrested them after a filmy style chase. So far, 11 people have been arrested and the involvement of minors is a cause for concern. The minors were given training in Bailgada Ghat in Chikhali. Karan Rokde had got the crime executed through minors.
The action was taken by AGC team’s PI Harish Mane, API Sagar Panmand, policemen Hazrat Pathan, Pravin Tapkir, Sopan Thokal, Gangaram Chavan, Vikram Jagdale, Ganesh Medge, Vijay Gambhire, Sunil Chowdhary, Nitin Gengje, Shayma Baba, Vijay Televar, Mayur Dalvi, Ramdas Mohite, Shubham Kadam, Dnyaneshwar Giri, Toufiq Shaikh, Nagesh Mali and Popat Halge under the guidance of CP Vinoy Kumar Choubey, Addl CP Vasant Pardeshi, DCP Swapna Gore and ACP Satish Mane.
