Pimpri Chinchwad: Chikhali boy ends life after mother stops him from watching television

Pimpri: A 13 year-old-boy from Chikhali area of Pimpri Chinchwad city ended his life after his mother didn’t allow him to watch television. The incident took place on Wednesday (December 2).

The deceased has been identified as Ramzan Abdul Shaikh (13), a resident of Chikhali.

According to information given by police, Ramzan would always be interested in watching television. His mother used to scold him for this habit. When Ramzan’s mother stopped him from watching television, he hanged himself on Wednesday (December 2).

Ramzan’s family members were present at home when he did this act. They immediately got him down.

Ramzam was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. He was admitted there and was stable for sometime. However his condition started worsening on Wednesday night and was moved to another hospital. He however couldn’t sustain the injuries and succumbed to death before treatment could be started in the other hospital.
