PI Swati Desai Passed Away | Pune Police Senior PI Swati Desai no more
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Senior PI Swati Vivek Desai passed away after a brief illness on Sunday. She was posted at the Pune Police Special Branch. Her funeral procession started from her residence in Bibvewadi and her last rites took place at the Vaikunth crematorium on Monday. (PI Swati Desai Passed Away)
After having worked in the Pune Police Crime Branch Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Swati Desai was shifted to the Sahakar Nagar police station.
She served the police force for over 25 years. She was also deputed in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Desai was transferred to the Sahakarnagar police station as the Senior PI from the EOW.
She cracked tough cases while working in the Sahakarnagar police station. She was instrumental in nabbing the culprit, who had kidnapped his lover’s toddler son. She also played an important role in nabbing the gangs of thieves operating on PMPML bus routes. Desai succeeded in detecting a case of child sex abuse.
