Photo of mathematics question paper found in the mobile of security guard in Pune; Fly squad suspects paper leak

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | A photo of the mathematics paper of SSC was found in the mobile of a woman security guard at the Yashwantrao Chavan Vidyalay in Bibvewadi. Hence, officials of the flying squad feel that this is a case of paper leak. The chief of the flying squad, Kisan Bhujbal, has lodged a complaint (71/23) at the Bibvewadi police station. Accordingly, an FIR was registered against Santosh Kamble. (Pune Crime News)

According to the police, the SSC exam is underway at Yashwantrao Chavan Vidyalay and PMC’s security guard Manisha Kamble has been stationed there. Her daughter is also appearing for the SSC exam at the same centre. The flying squad visited the centre at 11.15 am and it found that Manisha Kamble was doing something on her mobile.

Since there is a ban on using mobiles during the examination, the flying squad had a doubt. When her mobile was checked, they found the photo of page number 8/Nv913 of the mathematics question paper part one of the English medium of March 13 and having subject code N 913.

Hence, an FIR was registered against the block supervisor on March 13 under the provisions of Maharashtra Prevention of Illegal Activities Act, 1982. The security guards cannot enter the classroom and they have to take care of security outside the classrooms. The police are investigating how the guard got the photo of a page of the question paper and whether anyone else is involved.
