Parties and organisations give a call for Pune bandh against Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Dec 13

Mumbai : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Band News | Various organisations in Pune have called for ‘Pune bandh’ against Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s insulting remarks on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. On December 13, Sambhaji Brigade and other organisations will hold a strike in Pune.

A meeting of various parties and organisations of the state was called on Wednesday near the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the SSPM campus in Pune. In this meeting, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s controversial remarks were condemned. The decision to shut down Pune on Tuesday December 13 was unanimously made. Santosh Shinde of Sambhaji Brigade has given details about the agitation. The call for Pune bandh on December 13 has been given in honor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shinde appealed to the people of the city to participate in the bandh voluntarily in a peaceful and constitutional manner.

Many BJP leaders and the governor have been insulting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Therefore, the Maha Vikas Aghadi has become aggressive. The Aghadi had protested against the Governor and other BJP leaders by holding various agitations and demonstrations.
