Pakistan wants to improve relations with India

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that if France and Germany can maintain good relations after fighting for many years, then India-Pakistan relations can make better.

Khan said this after having laid the foundation stone of corridor linking Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur in Narowal district of Pakistan on Wednesday.

Earlier, Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu was attended the swearing-in ceremony of Pakistani Prime Minister. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) have targeted Sidhu about it. Earlier, Khan laid the foundation stone of the corridor linking Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur in Narowal district of Pakistan. Kartarpur Sahib will be connected to Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district in India. After the formation of this much awaited corridor, Indian Sikh can visit Gurudwara Darbar Sahib.

Sidhu has given credit to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for laying the foundation stone of the Kartarpur corridor.

Union Cabinet Minister of Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Pakistan Army Chief Kamar Javed Bajwa, External Affairs Minister Shah Mohammed Qureshi, Minister of State for Interior Shaharyar Afridi, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar were also present on this occasion.

Union Minister Badal said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Prime Minister of Pakistan should get credit for this new initiative. While referring to Modi’s statement, Badal said that this event is similar to falling of Berlin wall. He said, “If the Berlin Wall can be destroyed, then why can not we remove the differences between India and Pakistan.”
