Pakistan Sponsored Narco-Terror Module Busted, Heroin Worth Rs 100 Crore, 1.34 Crore Cash in Indian Currency Seized

Srinagar: Number of Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were continuously increasing in Jammu and Kashmir. c have arrested 3 LeT Militants with Heroin Worth Rs 100 Crore and 1 Crore Cash in Indian Currency. It is being told the largest operation in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces recovered huge amounts of cash besides 21 kg of heroin from all of them.

According to the police, preparations were being made to send this consignment of drugs to Kashmir and neighbouring states on the instigation of terrorist organizations. According to Handwara SP GV Sandeep Chakraborty, all these terrorists were in contact with Pakistan and have also received Rs 1.34 crore from them. 21 kg of heroin has been seized from the people caught and the police are trying to find out where it was being taken. SP Handwara told the media that the three have been identified. The main accused is Iftikhar Indrabi, a notorious drug smuggler. Several FIRs have been filed against him.

The second man is his son-in-law Momin Pir and the third is Iqbal-ul-Islam. It has also been known from police sources that Iftikhar, the leader of this team, has direct contact with the LeT bosses in Pakistan. Its job was to spread the drug trade to other states of the country including Jammu and Kashmir and to transfer the amounts received from it to terrorist organizations. It is being said that with their help, the names of many people associated with Terror funding in other states of the country including Kashmir will be revealed. Police say that this module was working for Lashkar-e-Taiba along with strengthening its activities in the valley. Their work is also to send the youth of the valley on the path of terrorism by making them addicted to drugs.
