The incident took place at a hospital in Pune. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident, he said. Ajit Pawar was on a visit to Baramati on Sunday. Ajit Pawar went to a hospital on Saturday. While going from the third floor to the fourth floor in an elevator, suddenly there was a power cut. The lift came straight down from the fourth floor to the ground floor. Pawar said, “Fortunately, we survived, otherwise there could have been a condolence meeting today. I didn’t tell anyone about it on Saturday,” Pawar said.
What exactly happened?
Ajit Pawar said, “I inaugurated two hospitals on Saturday. After the opening of the second hospital, we wanted to go to the fourth floor. The elevator stopped at the third floor. From there, it came straight down. A doctor and a security guard were with me. We were taken out after breaking the lift door. Yesterday was my father’s death anniversary. So I didn’t say anything at home. Even the media was not aware of this. We must take care of ourselves. I could survive because of your blessings.”
Pawar said, “After this accident, I made a speech and came home pretending that nothing had happened.”
