In the procession around the city for the Ganesh idol installations, Dhol Tasha teams stayed on the streets for a long time which resulted in traffic jams. Therefore, police have imposed limits on the number of drum teams and their members for the Ganesh immersion procession.

In addition to reducing the time of the immersion procession, restrictions have been imposed in each and every place to stop the movement.

Pune City Police’s Joint Commissioner Shivaji Bodke has issued the order and appealed people to follow it.
