Nitin Gadkari | Political crisis in Maharashtra: Wait and watch what happens in the future, says Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

Mumbai : NpNews24 Online  – Nitin Gadkari | A political crisis has been created in the state. Due to the rebellion by senior Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, the stability of the MVA government has been threatened. It is being speculated that Eknath Shinde wants to form an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. However, no BJP leader has given any official reaction on this development. Rumours are rife about whether the government will survive the crisis or collapse. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has given his reaction on the political crisis in Maharashtra.

“I think the problems being faced by the Thackeray government will disappear soon,’’ Gadkari said. When asked whether he will solve the problems of the Thackeray government, he said “Wait and watch what happens in the future.’’

There is intense speculation that the BJP which performed ‘magic’ in the recently held Rajya Sabha and Legislative Council elections, will do the same leading to a change in the state government.

“Tomorrow’s solutions have to be found in today’s problems. We will get answers to all the questions soon. The clouds will disappear. Darkness will be dispelled and the sun will rise. The clouds of uncertainty hovering over the Thackeray government will soon disappear,’’ Gadkari said. When asked about his ‘close’ ties with Thackeray, he said that personal relations are different from political relations. Even if a person is in the government or not, the relations are the same,’’ he said.

When asked whether the BJP was instrumental in the problems being faced by the MVA government, he said he will not comment any further on the political situation in Maharashtra. “However, if the Shiv Sena and BJP come together, then I will be very happy,’’ he added.
