Newlywed woman died as car fell into river

A woman had to pay for her insistence to drive a car. A 22 year old newlywed woman and the owner of the car died in an accident at Uruli Kanchan of Pune.

According to Loni Kalbhor police, woman and her father-in-law were returning to their village in Maruti’s car when she insisted to drive. At first, her father-in-law denied her to drive but when she abominated to let drive the car, owner of the vehicle gave her the permission.

Sonali Ganesh Limbhone is the name of the woman who died in this accident and another deceased includes the owner of the car named Maruti aka Baban Khedekar of age 60. She with her father-in-law Chhagan Limbhone had went for a wedding at Shindwane village. She was married to Chhagan’s son only before one and a half months.

As she started the car, she lost her control from car steering. The car accelerated too much and fell into 20 to 30 ft deep well. The water level was so deep that Sonali  and Maruti could not make themselves out of the car and died after drowning at the spot.

Sonali’s father-in-law could have died in this accident if he would have not stepped out of the car on time. As soon as Sonali started the car and he realized that the car was out of her control, he jumped out.

As soon as the Loni Kalbhor police received the information of accident, they rushed to the spot. The car was carried out of the well using the crane and JCB.
