NCP MP Supriya Sule | Sule says ‘closed chapter’ on Chandrakant Patil’s apology

Osmanabad :  NpNews24 Online – BJP state unit president Chandrakant Patil had apologized for his controversial statement about NCP leader and MP Supriya Sule. Following heavy criticism, Patil wrote a letter to State Women’s Commission Chairperson Rupali Chakankar apologizing for the same.

At a media interaction, a question was asked to Sule how would she react to Patil’s gesture? She replied, “I haven’t spoken a word on this from the beginning. Let us close this chapter as he might have regretted what he said.”

What did Patil say?

Speaking on the OBC reservation issue, Chandrakant Patil, addressing Supriya Sule, had said, “On the issue of OBC quota, either you got to Delhi or to a cemetery. If you cannot provide it, go home and cook.” These remarks invited angry reactions in the state. Patil was criticized heavily. Finally, he has apologized to the State Women’s Commission.
