NCP Leader’s 14 Staff Corona Positive, Minister Quarantined in Maharashtra

Mumbai : 14 private staff of Maharashtra government housing minister Jitendra Awhad have been found corona positive. Of these 14 staff, there are 5 police constables posted under his protection, while the remaining 9 people include their personal staff, housekeepers and party workers. His corona test result came a while back. Minister Jitendra Avhar has also quarantine himself.

NCP leader Jitendra Awhad had informed on Monday that he had come in contact with a person who later turned out to be Corona positive. After this, he had announced to go to Quarantine.

Meanwhile, many of his personal staff have also tested corona positive. Many of them work in their bungalows. Jitendra Awhad represents the Kalwa-Mumbra Legislative Assembly of Thane district, in the past few weeks many people from this area have been found to be Corona positive.
