NCP-Congress will not come to power for next 15 years: Chandrakant Patil

NPnews24 online Mumbai: BJP State President and Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil said that Congress-NCP alliance will not come to power in the State for the next fifteen years.

“Due to lot of development work in the State during the last five years, the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition government has created a great deal of trust among the people. That is why leaders and activists from other parties are joining the BJP,” the minister said.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will begin his Statewide ‘Mahajanadesh Yatra’ from August 1. The Revenue Minister was unveiling the logo of the yatra in Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, Patil said that irrigation area in the State has increased from 34 lakh hectares to 40 lakh hectares in the last five years.

“Like irrigation, there has been development in various fields. The common man is witnessing developmental activities in both urban and rural areas. As a result, the representatives of the people in those areas want to join the BJP. For the next fifteen years, neither the Congress nor the NCP will come to power. Leaders want to come with the BJP to develop their areas. Other party leaders have realised that there is no dirty politics in the BJP,” Patil said.

Patil further informed that former Union minister and former governor Ram Naik is active in politics again and will resume BJP membership on Tuesday. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be present at that time for the occasion.
