Women’s restroom inaugurated at Navapur police station of Nandurbar police

A women’s rest house has been set up at the Navapur police station of Nandurbar police for women to take rest and to ensure that they don’t face any problems.

 

 

The inauguration of the women’s rest house was done by the wife of Special Inspector General of Police of Nashik Range Dr Vidyulata Shekhar Patil and Navapur Municipality Mayor Hemalatha Patil on Monday.

 

While on duty, women should not face any problem and they should get rest and sometimes, women policemen don’t get time to go home and breastfeed their baby.

 

A women’s rest house is convenient for policewomen if it is located in the police station. Hence, the state government had issued instructions that a women’s restroom should be set up at the police station which will enable policewomen to take care of their child and carry out their duties.

 

 

According to the government’s instructions, a women’s restroom has been set up at the Navapur police station. At that time, Deputy Inspector General of Nashik region, Nashik BG Shekhar Patil gave instructions that toys and other useful things should be made available. He said that policewomen, while taking rest, should make use of the library to read books.

 

At that time, Deputy Inspector General of Nashik region, Nashik BG Shekhar Patil, Dr Vidylata Shekhar Patil, SP of Nandurbar PR Patil, Addl SP Vijay Pawar, Sub Divisional Police Officer Sachin Hiray, Mayor Hemlatha Patil, Local Crime Branch Police Inspector Ravindra Kalamkar, Navapur police station Police Inspector Balasaheb Bhapkar, other officials and staff were present.
