Regular reading influences our life and personality, says Special IGP of Nashik Range BG Shekhar Patil

Nandurbar : NpNews24 Online Nandurbar Police | Special Inspector General of Police of Nashik Range BG Shekhar Patil said regular reading helps to influence our life and personality. Like man needs food, the brain also needs food i.e. reading, he said. Special IGP Shekhar Patil inaugurated the newly opened library at the Navapur police station.

 

After Special IGP BG Shekhar Patil took charge of Nashik Range, he had emphasised that each police station should have a gymnasium, library and a police club. The library will help the policemen to increase their knowledge and provide a relief from their work.

 

Hence, SP PR Patil had instructed that libraries should be set up in all police stations for police officials, policemen and their children. BG Shekhar Patil is fond of reading and writing. His eighth book ‘Ranjui’ has been recently published.

 

After instructions from SP PR Patil, Police Inspector Balasaheb Bhapkar of Navapur police station got an unused room refurbished and started a library there. He sent the list of books to the SP who gave his approval. Police officials, policemen and their families are happy that a modern library has been started at the Navapur police station.

 

Special IGP BG Shekhar Patil, Dr Vidyulata Shekhar Patil, Nandurbar SP PR Patil, Addl SP Vijay Pawar, Sub Divisional Police Officer Sachin Hiray, Navapur Municipality Mayor Hemalatha Patil, Local Crime Branch Police Inspector Ravindra Kalamkar, Police Inspector Balasaheb Bhapkar of Navapur police station and other officials and staff were present.
