NANDURBAR : NpNews24 Online  –  Nandurbar Police News | The Nandurbar police have traced 1,207 women and 263 minor girls who were missing from 2018 to 2022 in 23 months. The search percentage is more than 95 per cent. Meanwhile, the Anti Human Trafficking Unit set up under guidance of SP PR Patil has traced 14 girls in the 13-18 age group. The Maharashtra Women’s Commission has praised the performance of the Nandurbar police. The Chairperson of Maharashtra Women’s Commission, Rupali Chakankar, has tweeted about this. During the monthly crime meeting of the Nandurbar police, an overview of house break-ins and robberies is undertaken. In various police stations of the district, from 2018 to 2022, 1,278 women are missing and 274 minor girls have been kidnapped. Since some of the women and minor girls had not been traced, SP PR Patil had issued instructions to officials that the cases should be thoroughly probed by launching a special campaign.

 

 

A Missing Desk had been started in the police control room of Nandurbar police. An official and two staffers from each police station i.e. A team of 12 officers and 24 policemen was set up at the level of police station. The team traced 1,207 women out of 1,278 women who went missing from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and 263 minor girls out of 274 girls.

 

The Anti Human Trafficking Unit has been set up under the guidance of SP PR Patil to trace girls who have not been found so far. The unit has so far traced 14 minor girls who were missing from 2017, in two years. The Maharashtra Women’s Commission has praised the performance of the Nandurbar police. The Chairperson of Maharashtra Women’s Commission, Rupali Chakankar, has tweeted about this.
