Muslim religious leader wrote letter PM Modi, said – Our community is ready to sacrifice lives in the war with China

Lucknow: Shia Cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawwad has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed confidence to support him in the escalated tension on the China-India border.

Maulana Kalbe Jawad said in the letter that the tensions have increased on the Indo-China border for a few days. However, the Indian Army have given befitting answer to the inhuman treatment of our brave soldiers by China.

Kalbe Jawad stated that even during the Kargil war, every citizen of the country stood shoulder to shoulder with the Indian Army. Similarly, Shia Muslims of Leh and Ladakh will stand with India and against China at every step. Our community will not back down from sacrificing their lives to protect the land of India.

It has now been more than 100 days for the deadlock between India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

However, Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said that China should seriously consider the withdrawal of troops along the border in East Ladakh. He said that both sides had agreed on a broad principle for retreat and based on this some progress was also made in the past.
