Mundhwa: Man assaulted with sharp weapons for being denied entry to Orilla pub

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | Three people who were angry for not being given an entry to Hotel Orilla located near Tadigutta Chowk on ABC Road in Mundhwa police station limits, caught hold of a waiter and assaulted him on his hands, back and head and tried to kill him. Dhirendra Avdesh Chouhan (27), a resident of Mundhwa, has lodged a complaint. Accordingly, the police have arrested Abid Yusuf Khan (20), a resident of Lohiya Nagar. Dhirendra works as a waiter in Orilla pub. On Saturday, at 2.15 am, he was going home with his colleague Vikram Udain after finishing work.

The arrested accused Abid Yusuf Khan and his two aides came there. Two of them caught hold of Vikram Udain and assaulted Dhirendra with sharp weapons. They left after some time. Since Dhirendra was seriously injured, it created panic in the area.

The Mundhwa police were informed about the incident. Some officials rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, Dhirendra was sent to a hospital for treatment. Sr PI of Mundhwa police station Ajit Lakde and his colleagues visited the spot. The incident took place on Saturday at 2.15 am and an FIR was registered at 8 pm on Saturday. API Sandip Jore has informed that Abid Yusuf Khan had been arrested. API SB Jore is conducting a probe.
