Mumbai: Mithun Chakraborty’s wife, son booked for forced abortion, rape

Mumbai : Yogita Bali, wife of Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty and son Mahaakshay Chakraborty aka Memo, has been booked at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai for rape, cheating and forcible abortion. According to the written complaint by the victim to the police- “The victim and actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mahaakshay alias Memo were in a relationship since 2015. During this, Mahakshaya made physical relations with the victim by pretending to marry her.”

In the written complaint made to the police, the victim said that – ‘In 2015, Mahaakshay called the victim home and gave her a soft drink, and in the meantime Mahakshaya made physical relations with the victim without any consents and later kept pretending to marry. Mahakshaya alias Memo continued to have physical relationship with the victim for 4 years and tormented her physically, mentally.”

According to the victim, when she became pregnant due to this relationship, Mahaakshaya aka Memo pressurized her to get abortion and when she did not agree, he gave her some pills and got got the abortion done. According to the victim, she did not know that the pills being given to her could lead to abortion. The victim says that, ‘Mahaakshay’s mother and actor Mithun Chakraborty’s wife threatened the victim after she complained and also pressurized her to take the case back.’

The victim had earlier tried to register an FIR in this case, but police did not register a case. During this time, the victim shifted to Delhi where she had appealed to Rohini Court in Delhi to register an FIR. On the basis of Prima Fensi Evidence, the court ordered to register an FIR in the case and investigate. On the basis of which a case was registered at Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai on Thursday.
