New Delhi: On March 7, PM Modi (PM Modi) dedicated the 7500th Jan Aushadhi Kendra in the country on the occasion of Jan Aushadhi Day. PM Modi has set a target of increasing the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras to 10,000 within a year. PM Modi spoke to the beneficiaries of this scheme on the occasion of Jan Aushadhi Day.

Through this scheme, the central government is providing medicines at affordable rates to the people. The Modi government is also encouraging people to open Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra in many parts of the country through this. Let us know how much has changed in the way of opening Jan Aushadhi Kendra in the country and how much people would have earned from it? Also, how much subsidy does the central government give in this scheme?

First of all, know that if a person opens a new Jan Aushadhi Kendra, what kind of benefits he will get. The Modi government is giving an incentive of up to 5 lakh rupees to those who open new Jan Aushadhi Kendra. But if this center is opened in an aspirational district, then 2 lakh more rupees will be available. In this situation, the incentive amount will be Rs 7 lakh. If a woman opens a Jan Aushadhi Kendra for a person with a disability, a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe, then Modi government will also give an incentive amount of Rs 7 lakh. Until recently, this incentive amount was only 2.5 lakh rupees.

Explain that the Central Government has created three types of categories to open the Jan Aushadhi Center. Under the first category, any person, unemployed pharmacist, doctor, or registered medical practice store can start. In the second category, trusts, NGOs, private hospitals, society self-help groups get the opportunity and in the third category, there are agencies nominated by the state governments. Then a drugstore is opened in the name of Prime Minister Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra.

If you are willing to open a Jan Aushadhi Kendra, then you have to take the license of Retail Drug Sales in the name of Jan Aushadhi Kendra. For this, you will have to download the form by going to http://janaushadhi.gov.in/online registration.aspx. A change has also been made in this scheme as compared to earlier, now 5000 will have to be paid as application fee. Earlier, the government did not charge any application fee.
