MLA and 11 family members shot dead

Npnews24 online: Sitting MLA from National People’s Party Tirong Aboh and his son, including 11 other members from family were brutally killed by unknown assailants in Arunachal Pradesh.

Aboh represent to Khonsa West assembly, Militants group belong to National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) are suspected to be behind attack.

Reacting to incident Chief Minister of Meghayala Conrad Sangma tweeted, “The NPP is extremely shocked and saddened by the news of the death of its MLA Shri Tirong Aboh (Arunachal Pradesh) and his family. We condemn the brutal attack and urge @rajnathsingh and @PMOIndia to take action against those responsible for such attack.”

Aboh representing to the party, expressed shocked and saddened by the news.

Union minister Kiren Rijiju also took to twitter to react to the incident and said strong action will be taken against those responsible for the attack.

Arunachal Pradesh went to polls simultaneously with the Lok Sabha elections. Results for the Arunachal assembly elections will be announced along with the general election results on May 23.
