Minor girl raped and strangled to death in Pune

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE-  In a bizarre incident, a 17-year-old girl was raped and murdered brutally in Dhayari, Pune.

The incident took place on Thursday, December 6. It has been revealed by the autopsy report that the deceased was first raped and then murdered by strangling her throat.

A panic situation has been created among the people of Dhayari after the incident came into light.

According to the information, she was raped and murdered by strangling her throat. When the incident took place, her parents was not at home.

The incident though came to light on Thursday evening when her parents returned from  work. Vaishnavi’s body was found by her father lying on the ground when he  came back home. Then, she was immediately rushed to the hospital, but it was too late by then and the doctor declared her dead.

Police got the post-mortem report on  Friday, which revealed that she was raped first and then murdered pathetically.

The accused has absconded since the incident and police is in search of him, probing into the case further.

The people of Dhayari who are traumatized and in utter shock are expressing anger on this heinous act.

A case has been registered in Sinhagad police station against the accused.  Sinhagad police  are  further investigating this matter.
