MHADA Exams paper leak case: Police submit 3,500 page chargesheet in court

GA Software Technology Pvt Ltd was appointed to conduct the exams of A,B and C posts in MHADA. A flutter was created when the question paper was leaked before the exam by company’s director Dr Pritish Deshmukh with the help of agents.

 

A probe was carried out by Pune cyber police and they have filed a 3,500 page chargesheet in the court of First Class Magistrate Shraddha Dolare against Dr Pritish Deshmukh, agent Ankush Harkal and Santosh Harkal.

 

The Pune police have so far arrested six people in the case. Apart from Deshmukh and Harkal brothers, Jamal Ibrahim Pathan (47), a resident of Latur, Kalim Gulsher Khan (52), a resident of Buldhana, Deepak Vikram Bhusari (32), a resident of Buldhana have been arrested. MHADA had entered into a contract with GA Software company for conduct of A,B and C posts of MHADA.

 

Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta said that while probing the question paper leak of health department’s paper, we got information about the leakage of MHADA exam question paper. Different student organisations said that some people are planning to leak the question paper of the MHADA exam. The police formed separate teams and carried out investigation in Pune, Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Thane. Our doubts were confirmed and we took some accused into the custody.

 

While probing the case, the police met some people who operate private classes in Aurangabad and some objectionable things were found in their mobiles. The police got some information about the health department question paper and some documents of several candidates were found.

 

Admit cards of three students were found. We came to know that Harkal brothers were engaged in a conspiracy. At the same time, GA Software company’s director Pritish Deshmukh was found in their car. Deshmukh had a laptop and some model question papers along with some pen drives, the Pune cyber police said.
