Messages being sent from fake social media account created in the name of IPS Vishwas Nangare Patil; he warns people not to reply to messages sent from this

One such incident of a fake account took place. It has been revealed that cyber criminals created a fake social media account in the name of Mumbai-based senior IPS officer Vishwas Nangare Patil. Currently, Nangare Patil is posted as the Additional Director General of Police (ADG) of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Mumbai. ADG Nangare Patil himself has given details about this. He said, “Fraudsters have created a fake Facebook account in my name. They are chatting with people through this account. Random messages are being sent to people. A legal action is being taken in this matter. However, do not reply to messages sent from this fake account, you may be cheated.”
