MCOCA action taken against gang for creating terror in Tadiwala Road area

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | MCOCA action has been taken against a gang which was spreading terror in Tadiwala Road area. Police commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has so far taken action against 17 gangs to control crime. MCOCA action has been taken against Sagar alias Saggy Kishor Gaikwad (21), a resident of Tadiwala Road, Prateek Sunil Kakde (22), Rohan alias Pandya Sunil Kakde (24), Ramnath alias Papa Meninath Sonvane (21) and Shubham Jeevan Wankhede (21), all residents of Tadiwala Road. An FIR of attempted murder is also registered against the accused at the Bund Garden police station. The accused have formed a gang and have committed crimes. The gang has committed various crimes such as attempt to murder, causing serious injury, robbery, house break-in, vehicle thefts, creating terror by using sharp weapons and violating police orders. The gang has committed crimes even after preventive action has been taken against them.

Senior PI Santosh Patil of Bund Garden police station had submitted a proposal through DCP Smartana Patil to Addl CP Rajendra Dahale about taking MCOCA action against the accused.

The proposal has been checked and permission has been given for MCOCA action against the accused. The action was taken by senior PI Santosh Patil, PI (crime) Ashwini Satpute, PSI Rajendra Gavde and other policemen under the guidance of Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Rajendra Dahale, DCP Smartana Patil and ACP RN Raje.
