Massive fire eruption in Andheri’s hospital; Pregnant women suffocated, one dead

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- In a shocking incident after a massive fire which erupted in Mumbai’s Andheri labour hospital in MIDC area, after which ten vehicles of fire brigade rushed to the hospital and tried to doze off the fire. But, during the rescue operation, one lost his life.

The fire brigade soldiers have been able to rescue 15 people out of the fire and have been shifted to the Hospital for treatment and safety as the rescue operation continued and the fire has destructed many properties of the hospital.

Meanwhile, it is understood that the fire took place at 4.30 PM at the Labour Hospital in Andheri MIDC area. Mainly, fire originated near Operation Theatre on the fourth floor. Not only this, the primary preliminary estimation of fire is due to short circuits. There seemed to be a huge surge of smoke in the hospital premises due to the fire.

Meanwhile, ten vehicles of the Fire Brigade entered the site and rescue operation started. Fire brigade personnel believed to have rescued 15 people.

Importantly, pregnant women and children are in a serious condition. They are trying to be rescued. Fire fighters have got control over the fire, but due to the late arrival that is after two hours of smoke, the pregnant woman faced suffocation of breath, children and others are facing problems inhaling breath in the hospital.

Relatives jumped from the building out of fear
Some patients and relatives of the hospital jumped out of the building and ran for their lives. Not only this, during the incident took place, a person was seen fell down when he tried to save himself with the support of rope. Apart from this, a woman is seen pleading from a window.

Meanwhile, during this, other patients and their relatives are trapped inside the hospital. Fire prevention personnel are also injured as the rescue operation started due to the fire break out.
