Mann Ki Baat has now become Dil Ki Baat, Ghar Ki Baat: Prakash Javadekar

NPnews24 Online Pune: Residents from Pune listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday in the company of Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Information & Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar.

While talking to the audience after the programme, Javadekar said, “This is second edition of ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme of the prime minister. This programme has become a household name and very popular because it comes from the heart and it touches everybody. Therefore, today the PM laid emphasis on water conservation, water retention, efficient utilisation of water, water saving.”

“The prime minister also talked about book corner, reading culture, he gave example of students who have conquered cancer and are playing at world stage. The prime minister also talked about Chandrayaan and inspired students to do study in space technology. He promised to take winners from quiz contest to Sriharikota,” Javadekar added.

The Union minister said, “The PM talked about cleanliness because Swachh Bharat has become national mission now. He talked about dialogue  and development taking place in Kashmir and how it has defeated nefarious designs of separatists.”

Javadekar also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to people that August 15 should become a public movement and a household ceremony.
