Man kills wife for not preparing tiffin in Undri

Pune: A man has been arrested for killing his wife because she did not ready his tiffin while he was going for work. The
Kondhwa police have registered a case in this regard.

 

The accused has been identified as Somnath Mahadev Pandagale (30), resident of Undri, and the victim as Shital Somnath
Pandagale (27).

 

Police constable Sanjay Desai lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station in this regard. The incident took place at
Hole Vasti in Undri on Saturday morning.

 

According to the police, Shital suffered from epilepsy seizures. Hence, she was taken to the Sassoon Hospital. She was
declared dead by the doctors. However, injury marks were found on her body while conducting the post-mortem. The report
stated that she died due to beating.

 

Later, the police interrogated Somnath and came to know how she was killed. He told the police that he wanted to go to
work in the morning. However, Shital did not prepare his tiffin. They started quarreling over the issue. Enraged Somnath
took a staff and beat her badly. She was seriously injured and died. API Shinde was investigating the case.
