Man dies by suicide after wife decides to leave home because of her extra marital affairs; FIR registered against wife and her three friends
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | A man died by suicide because his wife was leaving their house for ever because of her extra marital affairs. The Yerawada police have arrested Swapnil Gajare and registered an FIR against four people. The deceased has been identified as Kunal Sambhaji Shinde (43), a resident of Housing Board Colony, Yerawada. (Pune Crime News)
The deceased’s mother Pushpa Shinde (72) has lodged a complaint (217/23) at the Yerawada police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against his wife, Ritik Raj, Swapnil Gajre and Sachin Chandne.
According to the police, Kunal Shinde had married Rita in 2005. There were frequent quarrels between them after marriage. They have two children. Ten years ago, Rita put a condition that either she or her mother-in-law will stay in their house. Later, the complainant went to stay with her daughter. Seven-eight years ago, she became close to Sachin Chandne. When her husband questioned her, she promised to stay away from Chandne. However, the quarrels continued. Some days ago, Kunal told her mother that Rita does not behave properly and she wants to go to her parent’s house forever. She is always talking to someone on the phone. Kunal’s mother told him that they should not fight now and wait for his son’s SSC exam to get over. On March 28, Kunal told his mother that his son’s last paper was on the next day and Rita had made all the arrangements to go to her parents’ house.
On March 29, Kunal sent a message to his sister which stated that he was dying by suicide and his wife and her three friends were responsible for his death. Kunal’s sister informed her mother and when they went home, they saw that Kunal had hanged himself to the ceiling fan.
An FIR of forcing a person to die by suicide has been registered and PSI Gurav is probing the case.
