Man beats wife to convert to Christianity, immerses idols, images of God into river

In this case, a 43-year-old woman has filed a complaint at the Yerawada Police Station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against Ravindersingh Bhanwarsingh Rajpurohit (43) from Yerawada. The prosecution has said that the harassment has been going on since 2001. (Pune Crime)
According to details provided by the police, Rajpurohit, the complainant’s husband, converted to Christianity in 2001. Since then, he has been assaulting his wife physically and mentally and pestering her parents and children to accept Christianity. He used to beat the complainant and used to threaten to send the children to a Christian school. He hurt her religious sentiments by throwing the idols and photos of God into the river. So she has filed a complaint and Police Sub-Inspector Patil is investigating.
