Man arrested for molesting minor daughters in Mangalwar Peth area

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | The Faraskhana police have arrested a man, who used to sleep undressed in the presence of his children. He undressed his daughters and showed them currency notes and asked them to come near him. Thus, he molested them. (Pune Crime)

A 17-year-old girl lodged a complaint at the Faraskhana police station in this regard. The police then arrested the 47-year-old man from Mangalwar Peth, Pune.

According to the police, the complainant and her 14-year-old sister stay with their parents in the Mangalwar Peth area. The accused used to undress himself in front of his daughters, who would feel ashamed, at home when their mother used to go away for some work. On August 18, 2021, when the complainant’s younger sister was at home, their father undressed her and gesticulated at her to come near him by showing currency notes. On January 27, 2022, when the complainant was sleeping alone at home, he caressed her by moving his palm on her chest and face.

The complainant narrated the incident to her mother. The accused abused them and threatened to kill them by pouring petrol on them. They approached the police.
