Take necessary action for the depo - Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Mumbai : Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) | Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has instructed to take a necessary action in connection with construction of an independent depo of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) at Mul in Chandrapur district.

The Chief Minister has chaired a meeting in this regard at Sahyadri guest house today. Forest, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Principal Secretary of transport department Parag Jain and senior officers of the department were present in the meeting.

 

Chief Minister Mr. Shinde said that the state government had given instructions in this regard during session of the Legislature. The transport department should verify all the issues of this and take action.

In this meeting, Minister Mr. Mungantiwar said that the Mul city is being expanded. As a result, there is a need for an independent depot of the State Road Transport Corporation. Even the issue in this connection was raised in the session of the Legislature. Taking a positive stand on this issue in the session, the state government had said that the transport department would immediately resolve this issue.
