Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais | Maharashtra Governor flags off Rath Yatra for the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj 350th Coronation Ceremony

Mumbai : Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais | Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais flagged off the Sahastra Jal Kalash Yatra between Mumbai and Fort Raigad ahead of the 350th Coronation Ceremony of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Friday (26 May). The Governor accompanied by Minister of Cultural Affairs Sudhir Mungantiwar performed the Sahastra Jal Kalash Pujan and witnessed the demonstration of martial arts presented by children and youth.

Principal Secretary Culture Vikas Kharge, Karyavahak of Raigad Smarak Mandal Sudhir Thorat, Shri Shiv Rajyabhishek Dinotsav Seva Samiti official Sunil Pawar and Mahant Sudhirdas Maharaj were present on the occasion.

The water from the Jal Kalash collected from various rivers across the country will be used for the 350th Coronation Ceremony.
