Maharashtra: ‘Bring policy to stop crowd’, Says CM Thackeray to Prime Minister



Mumbai : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is discussing with the Chief Ministers of the state on the background of the outbreak of Coronavirus. Today he interacted with the Chief Ministers of six states through video conferencing. These include the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Odisha. The growing crowd is a major challenge as it is facing a possible third wave of corona.

In this regard, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring a comprehensive national policy at his level to stop crowds for various religious, social and political reasons.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the concrete steps taken by Maharashtra to deal with the second wave of Covid and plans for a possible third wave.
