Lockdown in Maharashtra will extend but Thackeray Govt. may take this big decision 



Mumbai : Strict lockdown has been imposed in Maharashtra for the past few days due to the rising incidence of coronavirus. Strict restrictions were imposed across the state till June 1. The entire state was waiting to see if the restrictions would be lifted or will remain in force for a few more days. The decision was expected to be taken at today’s cabinet meeting. However, no decision has been taken yet on whether to increase or relax the restrictions, said Minister Eknath Shinde.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that the lockdown in the state will continue and some relaxation will be given in it. Therefore, it has become clear that the lockdown in the state will increase but some relief will be given.Minister Eknath Shinde also said that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will announce the decision after discussing with the task force whether strict restrictions will remain in force after June 1. Meanwhile, the question of whether there will be a lockdown after June 1 has not yet been resolved.

Eknath Shinde has given a clear indication that looking at Corona’s statistics, lockdown will not be lifted completely. Health Minister Rajesh Tope has also made it clear that the lockdown in the state will not be fully lifted.
