Land of former MLA Anil Bhosale auctioned; Bazar Samiti buys it for Rs 6.41 crore
Pune : NpNews24 Online – The court had ordered that the property of former MLA Anil Shivajirao Bhosale, who is the chairman and main accused in the Shivajirao Bhosale Bank scam, should be seized. The 13-acre land of Bhosale located on the Pune-Solapur highway at Koregaon Mul was auctioned. The land has been purchased by Pune Krushi Utpanna Bazar Samiti for Rs 6 crore 41 lakh and 74 thousand.
The Administrator of Pune Krushi Utpanna Bazar Samiti Madhukant Garad said the limits of the city are expanding and a mini bazar is proposed to be built for the convenience of farmers and other market participants. If sufficient land with modern facilities is available, it will save the time of farmers and businessmen. Accordingly, the land had been surveyed by the bazar samiti.
Carrot, pea, chilli, onion, potato is sent to Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Market Yard at Gultekdi for sale. The land at Koregaon Mul on the Pune-Solapur highway is in the vicinity of Urali Kanchan railway station. Hence, it will be easier to send agri products to other states. It will also reduce transport expenditure and reduce the burden on the main market at Gultekdi, Garad said.
The Pune Krushi Utpanna Bazar Samiti purchased the land in an open auction. The recovery officials of the bank seized the land of Anil Bhosale located at Koregaon survey number three as per the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 section 101.
