Ongoing Midnight Parties and Drug Use in Pune Despite Police Efforts (Video)

Pune: Despite efforts by the police commissioner to curb Pune’s ‘night culture,’ it has come to light that some hotels continue to host midnight parties and engage in drug smuggling until dawn. The negligence of the police and state excise department has allowed these activities to persist.

On Saturday, a party at L3 – Liquid Leisure Lounge, a hotel in the FC Road area, continued until five o’clock in the morning. During the event, some young attendees were seen taking drugs in the toilet, with a video of the incident going viral on social media.

It has also been revealed that many minors were served alcohol at this hotel. Following the Kalyani Nagar accident case, Pune police took action against all pubs, bars, and rooftop hotels in the city, sealing them. However, as alcohol and drug parties continue, questions are being raised about the effectiveness of the police measures.
