Kolhapur – Sarpanch fires in air after Laxmi Puja, video goes viral

Kolhapur : NP News24- A case has been registered against the sarpanch of Shiroli Shashikant Khware in MIDC police station. Khawre is accused of firing in the air after Laxmi puja on Wednesday night. A video of the firing has gone viral. Police have made this video as evidence.

According to police, the incident took place around 7 pm on Wednesday. Khawre alongwith his supporters fired twice in the air from his double bore gun and pistol. The act of sarpanch led to the sensation in the entire area. An FIR has been registered against Khawre under section 30 of Indian Arms Act, 1959.

Khawre supporters claimed that he has weapon license.
