Kolhapur News | Traffic constable slaps jeep driver to clear way for minister’s convoy

Kolhapur:  NpNews24 Online – Kolhapur News | NCP leader and Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad was on a visit to Kolhapur district. Awhad experienced a traffic jam during his visit. Awhad’s motorcade was on its way and while, clearing the way, a traffic constable slapped the driver of a jeep. The video of this incident has gone viral on social media.

Awhad’s convoy was passing through a chowk while on its way to the temple of Goddess Mahalaxmi. There was a huge traffic jam on the way. The traffic police had tough time while clearing the way for the minister’s convoy. A traffic constable came running and slapped the driver of a jeep which was ahead of the convoy.

The incident has been recorded on video and it has gone viral on social media. The citizens are raising questions about the high handed behaviour of the policeman.
