Pune : NpNews24 Online – Kirit Somaiya In Pune | Around eight Shiv sainik have been booked for attacking senior BJP leader Kirit Somaiya on the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) premises. An offence has been registered under sections 143, 147, 341, 336 and 337 of IPC at the Shivajinagar police station.
Shiv Sena city unit chief Sanjay More and his colleagues went to give a petition to Somaiya, where a scuffle took place and the BJP leader was attacked.
Somaiya was manhandled on the PMC premises. Somaiya fell on the ground in the melee and hurt himself. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Sancheti Hospital. BJP state unit chief Chandrakant Patil met him there and inquired about his health.
