Kasba Peth, Chinchwad by-elections: MNS likely to remain neutral

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Kasba Peth Chinchwad Bypoll Election | Due to the death of BJP MLAs Mukta Tilak and Laxman Jagtap, the Kasba and Chinchwad assembly constituencies in Pune are going to bypolls. Voting will be held at both these places on February 26. But it would be curious to know what will be the role of MNS in this election? Will MNS support BJP? Finally, MNS has clarified its position. Orders not to participate in the campaign

MNS Pune city president Sainath Babar has given orders to party office-bearers and workers not to participate in campaigns till MNS chief Raj Thackeray instructs them to do so. So ‘will MNS remain neutral in both these constituencies?’ It remains to be seen.

Triple fight in Chinchwad

BJP has nominated Hemant Rasane in the Kasba by-election, bypassing the Tilak family. Ashwini Jagtap, wife of Laxman Jagtap, has been nominated in Chinchwad. Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has fielded Ravindra Dhangekar from Kasba constituency. Therefore, there will be a direct fight between Dhangekar and Rasane in Kasba Peth. In Chinchwad, the NCP has nominated Nana Kate whereas Rahul Kalate wants to contest as an independent candidate. So there is going to be a triangular fight in Chinchwad. It remains to be seen who the MNS will support. But for now, it seems that the MNS has taken a neutral stance.
